Sound Design

Here’s a sound re-design I did of the Glacial Spike spell from World of Warcraft Dragonflight.

Here are a few scenes from Vampirus, a feature-length Comedy-Horror film produced by Forever Safe Productions LLC. These murder scenes highlight some of the sound design that I did for this film, along with some foley that I recorded for the “feasting scene”. Watch the full movie here! This project taught me a lot about session management when it comes to longer forms of film. Thoughtful organization throughout the entire process is crucial if you’d like to achieve a consistent result.

Here are a few sound re-design’s that I did.

For this project I added sound effects to a short video of logo animations to showcase my work in the context of a commercial. This gave me the opportunity to sometimes select sounds that you would not initially expect to achieve the best final product. This “outside-the-box” thinking is an important skill for a sound designer to practice if they’re like to create unique results.

Here’s a sound re-design that I did for one of my favorite video games, The Last of US. I did this design to showcase what it would sound like to have me working on the combat in a video game. The environments in this project also gave me the opportunity to practice realism, selecting the most appropriate ambience’s based on the visual environment and filtering those sounds to match the experience of the player.

Here’s a gameplay video from Gaze, a video game that I provided the music and sound design for. Gaze is a puzzle game inspired by games like Journey. Play Gaze here!

Here’s a preview of Astromus, a game that I sound designed with my fellow colleagues at DePaul University. I was given the task of designing the ambience sounds, like the hum of the machinery on the ship and the beeps of various devices around the ship.
